One morning, in the fall of 1990, Dr. Willie C Brown was abruptly awakened around 2:00 a. m.  At that time, a strong and powerful encounter with the Holy Ghost took place.  As she experienced the presence of the Lord, she began to meditate.  Dr. Brown heard the Spirit impart to her saying, “It is time for you to be about my Father’s business.” As Dr. Brown continued to meditate on those words, she was totally convinced that the Spirit of the Lord was speaking to her. He encouraged her spirit with more words (Matthew 6:33) saying “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”  As a result of this encounter, the ministry K.O.G.A.R. (The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness) was birthed. That very day, Dr. Brown accepted the call to the ministry. The ministry focuses on all people, races, creed, color, the hurting, the abused, the misused, the sick, the rich, and the poor.

 

Shortly after, Dr. Brown preached her initial sermon at the J. L. Litman Cathedral in Albany, Georgia under the leadership of the late Bishop Johnny Litman. Subsequently, in 2009, she was ordained and licensed to preach the Gospel by Pastor and Superintendent Jerry Cochran at New Jerusalem Pentecostal Church in Albany, Georgia.  Currently, Dr. Brown is a member of Faith Worship Center in San Antonio, Texas.
